Court Halts Unauthorized Construction Near Delhi Hospital
Imagine a hospital in Delhi that has a nice green space next to it.
Someone started building something there without permission.
The hospital said, 'Hey, that's not allowed!'
They told a judge, who agreed.
The judge said, 'Stop building until we figure this out!'
The city's building inspectors were told to go check the place and report back to the judge with pictures and measurements.
The Tis Hazari Courts in Delhi ordered a halt to unauthorized construction.
The construction was taking place on a disputed green area in Sanjay Nagar.
Bram Health Care Pvt. Ltd., which runs NKS Super Specialty Hospital, filed the suit.
Despite a stop notice from the MCD, construction reportedly continued.
The court restrained the defendants until the next hearing and ordered an MCD inspection.
