Nissan Sells Yokohama Headquarters Amidst Financial Struggles and Revival Plan

Nissan Sells Yokohama Headquarters Amidst Financial Struggles and Revival Plan

Nissan, a car company, is selling its main office building in Yokohama, Japan, for about $630 million.

They will still use the building by renting it back.

This sale is part of their plan to improve the company because they recently lost a lot of money.

Last year, they lost over a billion dollars, which is much worse than the profit they made the year before.

The money from selling the building will help them update their computer systems and use more advanced technology like AI.

Nissan is also cutting jobs and closing a factory as part of their effort to get back on track.

The CEO says they are focused on recovery and that sales are getting better in places like China and the U.S.
