CJP's Saurav Das slams Lok Sabha disallowance of NEET questions

Some grown-ups in India had important questions for their government about a big exam called NEET-UG and about students who were unhappy with it.

A leader named Saurav Das said these questions were not allowed to be asked in the Lok Sabha, the big meeting room where leaders talk.

He said the questions were fair and that stopping them was strange.

He said a member of Parliament named Matheswaran V.S. had asked the questions.

The questions were about things like exam paper leaks, getting money back for exam fees, and whether students protesting in Delhi had water and clean places.

Many students had been protesting for weeks at a famous place called Jantar Mantar.

One activist, Sonam Wangchuk, even stopped eating for a while to show how serious the issue was.

The protests finally stopped on July 25 after some of the students' demands were accepted, and an education minister had to leave his job.

Saurav Das said the government must listen to the people's representatives, or people will go out on the streets to protest.

He said you cannot ignore the young people of India.
