Traffic Curbs for Ujjaini Mahakali Bonalu in Secunderabad
The Hyderabad Traffic Police are making special rules for a big festival called Ujjaini Mahakali Bonalu that will happen in Secunderabad from August 2 to 4.
They will close many roads and set up new routes so that cars and buses can move safely.
They also set up parking lots at places like a shopping mall and a college so people don’t park on the streets.
The rules start at midnight on August 1 and end at 3 am on August 4.
If you want to go to the festival, it’s best to plan your trip early and use the parking spots they have chosen.
Hyderabad Traffic Police will enforce traffic diversions within 2 km of Ujjaini Mahankali Temple from Aug 1 midnight to Aug 4 3 am.
Key junctions such as Karbala Maidan, Ranigunj, Paradise, Patny X Roads, SBI X Roads, YMCA X Roads, Sangeeth X Road, and Rasoolpura will see heavy congestion.
Major roads leading to the temple (Tobacco Bazar, Subhash Road, Hill Street, General Bazar) will be closed to all vehicular traffic during the event.
Diversion points at Patny, Ghasmandi, Bible House, Karbala, Ranigunj, and Paradise will reroute RTC buses and general traffic via Minister Road, Rasoolpura, Musheerabad, and Tank Bund.
Designated parking areas include Hari Hara Kala Bhavan, Mahaboob College, CMR Shopping Mall, Old Jail Khana, and others to reduce roadside parking.
