LG Teases Lightest 17-inch RTX Laptop
LG is going to show off new super light laptops at a big tech event called CES in 2026.
They say one of them will be the lightest 17-inch laptop with a special graphics card called RTX.
These laptops will have really nice screens and be very strong and light because of a new material called Aerominium.
One model will have a 17-inch screen and the other a 16-inch OLED screen.
They'll be really good for doing things like making videos or playing some games, but probably not the most powerful for serious gaming.
LG hasn't said how much they'll cost or exactly how light they are yet.
They'll only be sold in the US at first.
LG to unveil Gram Pro 17 and 16 at CES 2026, claiming world’s lightest 17-inch RTX laptop.
Gram Pro 17 features 2,560 x 1,600 display, RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB VRAM, and Intel Core Ultra processors.
Gram Pro 16 offers 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display and Intel Core Ultra processors with AI capabilities.
New Aerominium material reduces weight while enhancing strength and scratch resistance.
Laptops aimed at content creation and gaming, but not as powerful as dedicated gaming laptops.
