Naseeruddin Shah Twists Manoj Pahwa's Ear

Manoj Pahwa was feeling bored with his acting career despite having money, cars, and houses.

He talked to Naseeruddin Shah about this during a party.

Shah advised him to do theatre to stay fresh and enjoy his work.

Shah even sent a script for a play called 'Shatranj Ke Khilaadi' to Manoj's house.

Manoj tried to decline, saying he couldn't take time off from his other commitments.

But Shah insisted and even twisted Manoj's ear to make him agree.

Manoj eventually joined the theatre and started getting better roles, like in 'Dedh Ishqiya' and 'Mulk'.
