Hyderabad Workshop Focuses on Adaptive Skill Development
Imagine teaching people skills they can use to get jobs.
The government is changing how it helps people learn these skills.
Instead of using the same lessons everywhere, they want to create programs that fit each area and its specific needs.
They are also opening new training centers and making sure the teachers are well-trained.
The goal is to help more people find good jobs and make the country better.
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) held a workshop in Hyderabad on skill development.
Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State, advocated for localized, adaptive skill development, not rigid templates.
Two new Centres of Excellence will be established at National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) in Hyderabad and Chennai.
CITS certification will be mandatory for new instructors, and ITIs will have a grading and assessment framework.
The workshop focused on collaboration, aligning local skills with national priorities, and Viksit Bharat @2047.
