EPFO Moves UAN Activation to UMANG App

The EPFO has changed how you activate your UAN.

Now, you can only do it through the UMANG app.

You need to use your Aadhaar for face verification.

First, download the UMANG app and register with your Aadhaar-linked phone number.

Then, search for EPFO services and follow the steps to activate your UAN.

You will need to verify your face using the camera and confirm your details.

Once done, you will get a temporary password to access EPFO services.

You can check if your UAN is activated by going back to the UMANG app and entering your details.
