HAL to Acquire CAE’s Remaining Stake in HATSOFF

HAL has agreed to take full ownership of HATSOFF, a helicopter training company.

HAL will acquire the half of HATSOFF that it does not already own from CAE Canada.

The agreement covers more than 38 million shares, and the stated consideration is nil.

Once the deal is completed, HATSOFF will become a wholly owned subsidiary of HAL.

HATSOFF trains military and civilian helicopter pilots using simulators.

HAL says owning the whole company will make it easier to manage and make decisions.

HATSOFF reported turnover of ₹80.95 crore in the 2025–26 financial year.

The deal is expected to be completed within about 60 days of the share transfer agreement being signed.
