MP HC Stays Vikram Award Ceremony
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has stopped the giving of the Vikram Award for adventure sports for 2023.
This is because two people, Megha Parmar and Bhawna Dehariya, both want the award.
Megha says she should get it because she was the first to put the Indian flag on Mount Everest in 2019.
Bhawna got the award for climbing Everest in 2023.
The court wants to decide who should get the award and has set the next hearing for January 5.
Until then, the award ceremony cannot happen.
