Man Arrested for Fatal Christmas Shooting
A man in Oklahoma was arrested after accidentally shooting and killing a woman on Christmas Day.
The man, Cody Wayne Adams, had just received a new gun as a Christmas gift and was practicing shooting in his backyard.
He didn't have anything to stop the bullets from going further, and one of them hit Sandra Phelps, who was sitting on her porch holding a baby.
Adams didn't realize what had happened until the police told him.
He was very upset and started crying.
The police charged him with a serious crime called manslaughter, and he had to pay a lot of money to be released from jail while he waits for his trial.
