Bhatti discusses Telangana's clean energy transition at Berkeley

An important leader from Telangana, a state in India, flew far away to a big university in California.

His name is Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and his job is to make sure his state has electricity.

He visited the India Energy & Climate Center at the University of California, Berkeley.

He met with experts there to talk about clean energy.

Clean energy comes from the sun, wind, and other sources that do not harm the planet.

India has a big goal to make 500 gigawatts of clean energy by the year 2030.

Telangana is working on this too, with solar power projects and its Green Power Policy.

They also talked about programs that help women's groups and farmers use solar energy.

The leaders agreed to keep sharing ideas and working together on clean energy in the future.
