Pickleball Player Ryan Fu Appeals Contract Termination Denial
Ryan Fu is a pickleball player who got into trouble because he and two other players went to Japan to play in a tournament.
The UPA, which runs the big pickleball leagues, said this was against their rules and fired them.
Ryan tried to fight this decision, but the UPA said no.
Ryan thinks the UPA is being unfair, but for now, he and the other players can't play in the big leagues.
Ryan Fu and two other players were barred from competing on the PPA Tour after participating in a Japan event.
The UPA terminated their contracts, citing a breach of contractual obligations.
Fu appealed the decision, but the UPA denied the appeal.
The UPA operates both the PPA Tour and Major League Pickleball (MLP).
The event in question was organized by the Pickleball Japan Federation.
