Swiss Parliament Poised to Relax Arms Export Restrictions

Swiss Parliament Poised to Relax Arms Export Restrictions

The Swiss government is thinking about making it easier to sell weapons to other countries.

Right now, they don't sell weapons to countries that are in wars or treat people badly.

But they might change the rules so the government can decide to sell weapons in special cases.

This is because the companies that make weapons in Switzerland are having a hard time competing with other countries.

However, they still won't sell weapons directly to Ukraine.

Some people might not like this change and could ask the public to vote on it.
