Apple Releases iOS 27 With AI Siri and New Features
Apple is releasing a new iPhone update called iOS 27 on September 14.
People in India may see it late that evening, around 10:30–11:30 pm.
The update works on iPhone 11 models and newer phones, as well as newer iPhone SE models.
A redesigned Siri can understand more complicated requests and use information from supported apps.
Some Siri and Apple Intelligence features only work on iPhones with newer chips.
Visual Intelligence can examine objects, scenes, and things shown on the screen.
Apple is also adding more Liquid Glass design controls, camera controls, parental settings, and a feature that can move a cellular line between two iPhones.
Users should back up their data, use Wi-Fi, connect to power, and make sure they have enough storage.
To update, they should open Settings, choose General, and then Software Update.
Apple is releasing iOS 27 worldwide on September 14, with Indian availability expected around 10:30–11:30 pm IST.
The update supports the iPhone 11 series and newer models, plus second- and third-generation iPhone SE devices.
A rebuilt Siri, expanded Visual Intelligence, Liquid Glass customization, parental controls, and professional camera controls are among the reported features.
The new Siri experience initially supports English beta on compatible newer-chip iPhones, while French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish support is expected in October.
Users can install the over-the-air update through Settings > General > Software Update after backing up data, freeing storage, and connecting to Wi-Fi and power.
