Pickleball's Collin Johns Waived, No Teams Claim Player
A professional pickleball player named Collin Johns was let go by his team because he didn't play very well.
Other teams had a chance to pick him up, but they didn't.
Because of the rules, he couldn't be traded to a lower-level team.
Now, he might not be able to play in the league next year.
Some other teams changed their players, too.
Also, two players can't play right now because they are waiting for their visas to be approved.
Collin Johns was waived by the New Carolina Hogs after a season of underperformance.
No other Premier Level teams claimed Johns during the MLP waiver window.
Johns is ranked No. 8 in men's doubles on the PPA Tour and can't be traded to Challenger Level.
The Texas Ranchers, Orlando Squeeze, and New York Hustlers also made roster changes.
Both Orlando and New York added substitute players due to visa issues.
