Matrimony.com Reports 41% Drop in Q2 Profit Amid Revenue Dip
Matrimony.com, a company that helps people find partners, had a tougher time in the last few months.
Their income, or revenue, went down a little bit.
They also made much less profit than they did last year.
This happened because their costs went up.
However, the amount of money they booked for future services, called billings, actually grew.
The company is also starting to make money from a different business called ManyJobs and has invested in a new AI company that offers astrology and spiritual learning services.
Most of their money still comes from helping people get married.
Matrimony.com's revenue fell by 0.8% to ₹114.6 crore in Q2FY26.
Profit after tax (PAT) declined by 41% year-on-year to ₹7.8 crore.
Billings increased by 7% year-on-year to ₹117.5 crore.
The company has begun monetizing its ManyJobs business and invested in an AI-powered astrology platform.
Over 99% of the company's revenue is derived from matchmaking services.
