DNEG's Global VFX Reach Expands to Indian Epic Ramayana

DNEG is a big visual‑effects company that started in London in 1998.

In 2014 it joined with an Indian company called Prime Focus, so now it has studios all over India.

DNEG has made the special effects for famous movies like Inception, Interstellar, and Dune, and it has won eight Oscars for its work.

In India, DNEG helped make the movies Brahmāstra, Fighter, and RRR.

Now the company is working on the epic story Ramayana, which will test its ability to create huge fantasy worlds that look real.

The project shows how Indian filmmaking and Hollywood VFX skills are coming together.

DNEG’s team of about 3,000 people in India will build the look of places like Ayodhya and Lanka for the film.

The goal is to make the story feel believable to audiences all over the world.

This is a big challenge for the studio, but it also shows how global film production is becoming more connected.
