Congress Sets August 15 Deadline for Booth, Village, Mandal Committees

The Congress party wants to organize its local groups before a special date.

That date is August 15.

A leader named Inagala Venkatram Reddy is in charge of this in Hanumakonda.

He told party members to create small groups called committees.

There are three kinds: booth, village, and mandal committees.

Each mandal committee can have no more than 21 members.

At least 30 out of every 100 members must be women.

The committees must also include people from different communities, such as SCs, STs, OBCs, and minorities.

If a committee does not follow these rules, the party will not approve it.

Mr. Reddy asked everyone to finish the work calmly and to cooperate with local MLAs.
