Gujarat Marks Five Years of Bhupendra Patel Government

Bhupendra Patel has completed five years as Gujarat’s chief minister.

The state government says it used this period to attract investment and create new industries.

It introduced policies for areas such as semiconductors, clean energy, space technology and advanced manufacturing.

Gujarat says six semiconductor plants have been approved, and three are already working commercially.

The government also held regional investment conferences to spread development across the state.

It is improving city infrastructure and preparing a long-term plan through 2047.

Digital services are being expanded so people can use more paperless and cashless government services.

Several programmes support girls’ education, science studies, school nutrition and pregnant women’s health.

Gujarat is also preparing to host the Commonwealth Games in 2030.
