Russia Vows More Ukraine Strikes After Zelenskiy Threatens Refinery Attacks

Russia said it plans to increase attacks in Ukraine, including in Kyiv.

It said it would target military sites, defence industry locations and related infrastructure.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Ukraine would step up attacks on Russian oil refineries.

He said Ukraine would not target civilians.

Russia said its recent attacks were a response to what it called Ukrainian attacks on civilians in Russia.

Both countries deny targeting civilians.

Russian strikes have damaged infrastructure in Kyiv, including bridges over the Dnipro River.

The attacks have disrupted life for people in the capital as winter approaches.
