Revanth Reddy Rules Out Privatisation of Telangana Government Polytechnics

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said government polytechnic colleges in Telangana will stay under government control.

He said connecting them with Young India Skills University is meant to improve technical education, not privatise the colleges.

The Tata Group has promised ₹4,000 crore to help upgrade polytechnics.

The plan includes better laboratories, equipment and training.

Students may receive more internships, apprenticeships and practical lessons.

New courses will focus on fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics and electric vehicles.

Revanth said fees will not rise and fee reimbursement will continue.

He also said the government would listen to students and change GO 97 if needed.

Opposition leaders have raised concerns about land, jobs and approvals, but Revanth called those claims misinformation.
