Khawaja Criticizes Perth Ashes Pitch
Usman Khawaja, an Australian cricket player, said the pitch in Perth was not good during the first Ashes Test match.
He said it was very hard to bat on because the ball bounced up and down a lot, making it difficult to hit.
Many players, including his teammate Steve Smith, got hit by the ball.
Khawaja also said that similar things happened in India last year.
He had to miss batting because of a back problem but hopes to play in the next match.
Australia won the first Test easily, but Khawaja thinks the pitch was not fair.
Cricket Australia and the ICC, however, said the pitch was good.
Usman Khawaja criticized the Perth pitch for being unfair and unpredictable, calling it a 'piece of s**t'.
19 wickets fell on the first day, and 17 on the second day of the Test.
Khawaja compared the conditions to a similar experience in India last year.
He missed batting in the first innings due to back spasms but hopes to play in the next Test.
Australia won the first Ashes Test by 8 wickets, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.
