Parliament's Monsoon Session to Address Economic Bills
The upcoming meeting of lawmakers, called the monsoon session, will have a lot to do with money and business.
They will be talking about laws to encourage companies from other countries to invest in India and allow different types of insurance under one company.
They also plan to speed up how businesses that are in trouble can pay back what they owe.
They might also look at a new, simpler tax law.
The goal is to make it easier for money to come into the country and help businesses grow.
Parliament's monsoon session will focus on economic growth and investment.
The Insurance (Amendment) Bill proposes 100% FDI and composite licensing.
Amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) aim to speed up resolution of stressed assets.
A new simplified Income Tax Bill might be considered if the Select Committee submits its report.
Changes to the Companies Act may also be discussed in the session.
