College Seminar Explores Frontiers in Astrophysics and Cosmology
A college held a special event called a seminar about the very big ideas of space, like stars and the universe!
Two important scientists gave talks: one about why Einstein was so important and the other about how computers and regular people are helping to study space.
Other young scientists also shared their research, talking about things like pairs of stars and how special X-ray machines help us learn about space.
Everyone had a chance to ask questions and learn more.
St. Joseph's College hosted a seminar on astrophysics and cosmology.
The seminar included talks by professors Naresh Dadhich and Ajit Kembhavi.
Professor Dadhich's talk was titled “Why Einstein?”
Professor Kembhavi spoke on “AI, Astronomy, and Citizen Science”.
Research scholars presented papers on binary star systems and X-ray technology.
