Laxman Calls for Drug-Free India to Achieve Viksit Bharat

K Laxman joined a cycling rally in Hyderabad to spread awareness about the dangers of drugs.

He said drugs are harming young people and families.

He warned that drug sellers may target students and other young people.

He also said money from illegal drugs can support terrorism.

The central government plans to fight drugs through intelligence, stronger action against synthetic drugs, treatment centres and cooperation between agencies.

The government wants India to become drug-free by 2029.

Laxman asked citizens, schools and organisations to help protect young people.

He said healthy, drug-free citizens are important for India’s future.
