Congress Tells RSS: Advise Government, Not Gen Z
Some leaders from a political party called Congress are upset with a big organization called the RSS.
The RSS is a group that many people in India follow.
Its leader is a man named Mohan Bhagwat.
Mr. Bhagwat recently said that it is not fair to call young people, called Gen Z, bad names when they protest.
He said calling them anti-nationals is wrong.
Congress leaders think the RSS should talk to the government instead of talking to young people.
One leader, Amar Singh, said the RSS should give its advice to the government for development.
Another leader, Rajeev Shukla, said the government is not listening to Mr. Bhagwat anyway.
So Congress and the RSS are having a disagreement about what the RSS should do.
Congress MPs Amar Singh and Rajeev Shukla criticized the RSS and its chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Singh said the RSS is free to express its views but should direct them toward the government for development and growth.
Shukla alleged that the government is not listening to Bhagwat's views.
Bhagwat had called the labelling of Gen Z protesters as anti-nationals wrong.
The remarks reflect a political dispute over the RSS chief's comments on youth protests.
