Bandi Sanjay Assures Mumbai Telugus Support For Telugu Bhavan
Bandi Sanjay Kumar met members of the Telugu community in Mumbai.
They asked for help building a Telugu Bhavan, or community hall.
The hall would give Telugu people a place to meet and celebrate their culture.
The community representatives said other states already have similar buildings in Mumbai.
They said the Telugu community still does not have one.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar promised to provide necessary support.
He met language enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
The Mumbai Andhra Mahasabha and Gymkhana is also nearing its 100-year milestone.

The assurance came during his visit to Icon Labs on Monday.
Representatives of the Mumbai Andhra Mahasabha and Gymkhana requested help to construct the facility.
They said Mumbai’s historic Telugu community lacked a dedicated cultural building despite similar facilities for other states.
Madireddy Konda Reddy briefed the minister on the association’s history as it approaches its centenary milestone.
