Allies Meet in Paris to Finalize Ukraine Security Pledges
Ukraine's allies are meeting in Paris to talk about how they can help keep Ukraine safe.
They want to make sure that if there is a ceasefire with Russia, there will be a group of countries ready to support Ukraine.
The meeting includes many leaders and important people from different countries.
Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said they are ready for both talking and defending themselves.
Russia has not shown much interest in the current plans, and there are still big disagreements about the territory.
The goal is to make sure everyone is on the same page and ready to support Ukraine.
Ukraine's allies meet in Paris to finalize contributions to future security guarantees for Ukraine, including a multinational force in the event of a ceasefire.
The meeting includes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, more than 27 leaders, and senior U.S. negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Military officials, including the head of Ukraine’s general staff, are in Paris to put concrete commitments on paper for political backing.
The Coalition of the Willing, consisting of 35 nations led by Britain and France, aims to coordinate contributions with Ukraine, the U.S., and Europe's negotiating positions.
