Poonch Cloudburst Traps Eight Family Members
In a small village in Jammu and Kashmir, a man named Mohammad Latief went outside early in the morning to move his car because of heavy rain.
Suddenly, a cloudburst happened, which is like a sudden, very heavy rain that causes a lot of water, mud, and rocks to fall.
This destroyed Latief's three-story house and trapped eight of his family members inside.
Latief and his elder son were not home at the time and survived.
Villagers and rescue workers tried very hard to save the trapped family members, but they only found two bodies by evening.
The rest of the family is still missing.
In another nearby village, a family was also swept away by the strong current, and only one body has been found so far.
This event shows how quickly and powerfully nature can cause big problems.
