In a separate matter, another case was opened against a Srinagar business over unfinished Modular Kitchen work.

The Special Crime Wing filed a chargesheet against Kartik Choudhary in a case involving alleged foreign-employment visa fraud.
The case began with a complaint concerning a Portugal work visa, and seven additional complainants later joined the inquiry.
Investigators examined bank records, cheques, travel documents, witness statements, electronic evidence and forensic material.
Forensic examination reportedly matched questioned signatures with Kartik Choudhary’s specimen signatures.
The Crime Branch also registered a separate case against Srinagar-based Choudhary Enterprises Forum over alleged non-execution of Modular Kitchen projects after receiving payments.
