Suvendu Adhikari Meets Deceased TMC Worker's Family After Mob Attack

People in a town called Halishahar in West Bengal, India, got very angry and attacked a famous leader named Mamata Banerjee.

Mamata Banerjee is the leader of a political party called the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Just before the attack, a party worker named Birju Keot had died while he was in police custody.

After that, another leader named Suvendu Adhikari visited the town and met Keot's family.

He told them the government would help them and punish the police officers involved.

Two police officers are in trouble: one was suspended and the other was sent to the police line.

The government also said it will give the family 10 lakh rupees and a job to support them.

Keot's wife will get monthly money for one year before she starts a government job.

Adhikari disagreed with Banerjee about who started the attack, saying he saw no workers from his party in the photos.

A big inquiry is happening to find out the truth about what happened.
