Meerut University Students Get Incorrect Exam Marks
Imagine getting more points on a test than the test even had!
That's what happened to some students at a university in Meerut.
During their Food Science practical exams, some students were given scores that were higher than the highest possible score.
One student got 78 out of 70!
This caused a lot of confusion, and some students protested, asking for the issue to be checked.
The university said it was because of a mistake and fixed the scores.
The scores were corrected and put back online.
This incident follows another controversy at the same university involving a hostel warden.
MA Home Science students at CCSU received marks exceeding the maximum possible in their Food Science practical exams.
One student scored 78 out of 70, and another received 80 out of 70.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) protested and demanded an investigation.
The acting controller of examination attributed the errors to a technical issue.
The university rectified the marks and re-uploaded them on the website.
