Wolf Attacks Resurface in Bahraich Tehsil
In a place called Kaiserganj in Uttar Pradesh, India, wolves have started attacking people again.
Just a few weeks after officials thought they had killed the last wolf, a baby was taken and hurt by a wolf.
This is the fourth attack in ten days.
Before this, wolves had already killed eight people and hurt many others.
Now, the forest department is trying to find and catch the wolves.
They are asking people to be careful and are using special tools like drones to look for the wolves.
The wolves seem to be hiding in big sugarcane fields, so officials want these fields to be cleared.
A four-month-old infant was allegedly carried away and killed by a wolf in Kaiserganj tehsil, Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh.
This is the fourth wolf attack in the area in the last ten days, with a five-year-old boy killed and two five-year-old girls injured in separate incidents.
Forest officials have resumed their search for the wolves, using drones, camera traps, and other tools to track the animals.
The dense sugarcane fields in the area are being cleared as they provide shelter to the wolves.
The previous wave of wolf attacks in the area resulted in eight deaths and around 30 injuries since September.
