Ex-Mossad Chief Reveals Spies Inside Iran
Yossi Cohen, who used to lead Israel's spy agency Mossad, said that they have special teams working inside Iran.
He mentioned that these teams are made up of local Iranians who help Israel gather information.
Cohen also talked about the war between Israel and Iran, where the US helped by targeting nuclear sites.
He said that not all of Iran's uranium was destroyed, and Iran still wants to have nuclear capabilities.
Additionally, Cohen discussed the possibility of a formal relationship between Israel and Saudi Arabia, similar to the agreement between Israel and the UAE.
He believes that Saudi leaders think a peace deal with Israel is possible, even if the Palestinian issue is not fully resolved.
This comes after the US announced a sale of advanced fighter jets to Saudi Arabia.
Former Mossad director Yossi Cohen revealed that Mossad has special units inside Iran, consisting of local Iranians acting at Israel's direction.
Cohen stated that not all of Iran's uranium stockpile was destroyed during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, where the US targeted nuclear sites.
He mentioned that Iran has not given up on its nuclear aspirations.
Cohen discussed the push for a formal relationship between Israel and Saudi Arabia, which gained momentum during his term.
He suggested that a Saudi-Israel deal could move forward with normalization first, dealing with Palestinian matters later, similar to the UAE-Israel agreement.
