Poseidon's Role in Trojan War and Odyssey

Poseidon's Role in Trojan War and Odyssey

Poseidon is a powerful Greek god who rules the sea, causes earthquakes, and is known as the father of horses.

He helped the Greeks in the Trojan War because the Trojans didn't pay him for building their walls.

After the war, Poseidon got angry at Odysseus because Odysseus hurt his son, a Cyclops named Polyphemus.

This made Poseidon send storms and make Odysseus' journey home very hard and long.

Poseidon shows how nature can be strong and unpredictable, and what happens when people upset the gods.
