Revanth Reddy Inaugurates Hyderabad’s 3.32-Km Chanchalguda Steel Flyover
A new flyover has opened in Hyderabad.
It is called the Chanchalguda–Santoshnagar Steel Flyover.
The bridge is 3.32 kilometres long and has four lanes.
It helps cars avoid busy signals at Central Jail crossroads, Saidabad and IS Sadan.
Officials expect some trips to become much faster.
One driver said his journey now takes 10 to 15 minutes instead of about 25 minutes.
The flyover may also help people travelling to defence-related offices.
The project was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and land acquisition problems.
Reports list its cost as ₹620 crore, although the detailed figures cited do not add up to that amount.
