Delhi Sees Air Quality Improvement After Rain
Delhi's air quality improved to 'moderate' after rain and strong winds cleared the pollution.
This is the first time in over three months that the air quality has been this good.
Usually, in January, the air quality is very bad because of winter conditions.
Experts say this improvement might not last long because fog and more rain are expected soon.
The last time the air was this clean was in October 2025.
This is the cleanest January air Delhi has seen in 4 years.
The rain made it colder, but it also helped clear the bad air, making it easier to see and breathe for a short time.
Delhi's air quality improved to 'moderate' (AQI 184) after rain and strong winds.
This is the first time in over three months (103 days) that Delhi's air quality has been in the 'moderate' range.
The previous AQI was 'poor' (282) on Friday.
The improvement follows days of 'poor' air quality across several parts of the city.
This is the cleanest January air Delhi has seen in 4 years.
