Kanya Puja: Timing, Rituals, and Significance in 2025
During the Navratri festival, families perform Kanya Puja, also known as Kanjak.
This is a special time when young girls, representing different forms of the goddess Durga, and a boy, representing Lord Bhairav, are honored.
It usually takes place on the eighth and ninth days of the festival.
