Agra Conversion Racket: Forced Conversions and ISIS Links Exposed
Imagine some people were tricking others into changing their religion, like a secret club.
They would convince people, especially young women, to become Muslim, sometimes using pressure or false promises.
The police caught the leaders of this group, including one from Delhi.
One girl who was rescued said that girls who didn't want to convert were hurt.
The police are now looking for others involved and are trying to stop this from happening again.
The government is also working hard to stop these kinds of groups.
An Islamic conversion racket, with ties to ISIS-style tactics, has been exposed in Agra.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested Abdul Rehman, the mastermind, from Delhi.
A rescued victim reported she was brainwashed and forced to convert; women who refused were allegedly raped.
The investigation has linked the case to Shaheen Bagh, a site of 2019 anti-CAA protests.
The UP government initiated "Mission Asmita" to combat religious conversion and radicalization.
