Sundance Film 'Run Amok' Tackles School Shooting

A new movie called 'Run Amok' is about a high school student named Meg who wants to create a musical about a school shooting that happened at her school ten years ago.

Meg lost her mother in the shooting and wants to tell the story honestly through the musical.

Some people, like her principal, don't like the idea and want to stop it.

But Meg and her friends are determined to put on the show.

The movie shows how kids and adults deal with trauma differently.

It's a mix of serious and funny moments, and it's meant to start conversations about school shootings.

The movie is being shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
