Typhoon Narra Floods Southern China as Saudel Nears Japan

Typhoon Narra brought very heavy rain to southern China.

The rain caused flooding in Guangxi and nearby provinces.

Water covered homes, shops, some rooftops and power lines in Chongzuo.

Officials moved 54,000 people in Guangxi to safer places.

More than 15,000 people were evacuated from Chongzuo after water rose above an old record.

Businesses and tourist activities in dangerous areas were ordered to stop.

Another storm, Typhoon Saudel, moved toward Japan and Taiwan.

It was expected to bring strong winds and more rain.

Taiwan also reported one death and four missing people after a separate tropical depression caused flooding.
