Supreme Court Dismisses ₹1,300 Cr Damages Plea Against SpiceJet

Supreme Court Dismisses ₹1,300 Cr Damages Plea Against SpiceJet

Imagine two groups fighting over money because of a past deal involving an airline.

One group, Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways, wanted over 1,300 crore from SpiceJet, another group.

They went to court, but the court said no because they waited too long to file their case.

This case is about a share transfer from a long time ago.

Back in 2015, Ajay Singh bought the airline back from Maran.

Maran claimed SpiceJet didn't give him what was agreed upon when he gave them money to buy shares.

Now, the Supreme Court agrees that the lower court made the right decision.
