Noem Proposes Full Travel Ban Expansion
Kristi Noem, the US Homeland Security chief, suggested that the United States should stop people from all countries from entering.
She said this because she believes some countries are sending people who cause harm and take advantage of the US.
President Trump supported her idea.
This comes after a shooting near the White House where a soldier was killed by an Afghan national.
Currently, 19 countries are already restricted from traveling to the US.
Noem wants to add more countries to this list, possibly all of them.
Kristi Noem proposed a full travel ban on all countries.
Current travel restrictions apply to 19 countries.
President Trump supported Noem's proposal.
The proposal follows a shooting near the White House by an Afghan national.
