NLC India and PTC India JV for Green Energy
NLC India and PTC India have teamed up to create a new company that will build green energy projects.
These projects will include solar, wind, and other clean energy technologies.
The first part of their plan is to build enough energy to power around 500 MW, with a bigger goal of up to 2000 MW.
They will sell this clean energy to different groups, like government organizations and businesses.
Additionally, NLC India is also working on a separate solar project in Uttar Pradesh that will provide power for 25 years.
NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) and PTC India signed a joint venture agreement for green energy projects.
The collaboration aims to develop up to 2000 MW of green energy capacity in phases, starting with 500 MW.
The JV will focus on solar, wind, hydro, battery storage, green ammonia, and other emerging green technologies.
Power sales will target DISCOMs, government entities, and commercial & industrial consumers.
NLC India also received a Letter of Acceptance for a 110 MW Solar PV Power Project in Uttar Pradesh.
