HBO Max Moves Episodes Early
HBO Max is bringing out new episodes of two shows, Industry and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a little earlier than usual.
They will be available on HBO Max on Friday, Feb.
6, before their regular TV times.
This is because HBO Max wants people to watch these shows instead of the Super Bowl.
Industry is about young people working in a big bank, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is about a knight and his squire in a world like Game of Thrones.
HBO Max has done this before to avoid big events like the Super Bowl.
HBO Max is releasing episodes of Industry and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms early to avoid Super Bowl competition.
Industry Season 4 Episode 5 and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 Episode 4 will premiere on HBO Max on Friday, Feb. 6 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET.
The linear premieres will air at their regular times on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Industry follows young graduates working at a prestigious London investment bank, while A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is set a century before Game of Thrones.
This is a common strategy for HBO Max to ensure viewership during major sporting events.
