World Tennis League Debuts in India

The World Tennis League made its debut in India on Wednesday in Bengaluru.

The event featured big names in tennis like Gael Monfils, Nick Kyrgios, and Daniil Medvedev.

VB Realty Hawks won their first match against Aussie Mavericks Kites with a score of 25-21.

AOS Eagles also won their match against Game Changers Falcons with a score of 18-16.

The league is a mixed-team event that takes place before the new season, giving players a chance to practice without the pressure of tour events.

Each match consists of four sets, and the winner is decided by the number of games won.

The top two teams will qualify for the final after playing each other once in a round-robin format.

Sumit Nagal and Paula Badosa played crucial roles in the AOS Eagles' victory over the Aussie Mavericks Kites, with Nagal winning a thrilling tie-break and Badosa dominating her matches.
