Telangana Ministers Complain to Governor Over BRS Purification Ritual
Several Telangana ministers met the state’s Governor to submit a complaint.
They said BRS leaders carried out a reported purification ritual near KCR’s farmhouse in Erravalli.
The ministers said the ritual happened after Dalit protesters played traditional drums.
They believe this may show disrespect toward Dalits.
Minister Adluri Laxman called it an example of caste discrimination.
The ministers also complained about remarks allegedly made against the Assembly Speaker and his mother.
The Speaker has ordered an inquiry into a separate complaint by BRS women legislators.
The ministers asked K. Chandrashekar Rao to explain whether he knew about the ritual.
They said such treatment has no place in a people’s government.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka led ministers to meet Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan.

The ministers also raised alleged objectionable remarks by BRS legislators against Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar.
Laxman demanded clarification from former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and said untouchability would not be tolerated.
