Congress Leaders Greet Indian Youth Congress on Foundation Day

Some very important leaders from a big political group in India called the Congress party are saying happy birthday to their youth group.

The youth group is called the Indian Youth Congress, and it helps young people share their ideas and dreams.

One leader named Mallikarjun Kharge said the group is a powerful voice for India's young people.

Another leader, Rahul Gandhi, said that young people are India's greatest strength.

A third leader, K C Venugopal, said the government in New Delhi does not care about young people and has treated students badly.

The youth group was started a very long time ago, on August 9, 1960, by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Today, more than two crore, which is over twenty million, young people are members.

The leaders said they hope the group will keep helping young people build a better future for India.
