ECI Team Reviews Special Voter List Revision in Gujarat
The people who run elections in India sent a special team to Gujarat to check on the process of updating the list of who can vote.
This is important because it helps make sure only eligible people can vote in the next big election in 2027.
The team met with local election workers to see how many people's names are on the list and how they are printing and sending out special forms.
They made sure the workers know how to help people fill out these forms so nobody has trouble.
Some special helpers are being appointed too, like city managers, to make sure everyone gets the help they need.
The team also checked on the work being done by the people in charge of signing up voters in one specific area.
